Process Work Request – A summary of the activity
The “Process Request” activity allows you to approve, forward or reject a request that has already been created. You can also add a work request to the pending jobs list.
You can approve a request that is in the “Fresh” status. You can also approve a request that is in the “Forwarded” status, if the request has been forwarded for your approval. When you approve a request, the status of the request changes to “Approved” and you are provided with the option of automatically generating the work order based on the approved request. If you forward the request for approval to another user, the status of the request changes to “Forwarded”. If you reject the request, the status of the request changes to “Rejected”. You can perform these actions on a single request or process requests in bulk.
You can also approve, forward or reject multiple requests at the same time. The system records all the details of processing the request in the request history.
The following diagram depicts the various actions that can be performed on a request.
